Though she tried not to show it as much as her classmates, wanting to give the appearance someone more 'grown-up' than a lot of her schoolmates (she had seen and experienced a lot more than most of them given her travels and experiences with her father, after all)? She was honestly every bit as excited to be at Hogwarts as the other first years were. She just tended to keep it to herself more, focusing her attention on schoolwork and aiming to impress rather than jumping up and down and squealing with delight every time she learned a new bit of magic. She might not show it outwardly..but inwardly she was a giddy little girl who was eager to share her excitement with somebody. And there was only one person she was willing to let herself go around..
Daddy. Daddy was a professor at Hogwarts, something that she would probably come to find annoying when she grew older, but at age 11 she still considered it to be a privilege. It was unfortunate that she still could not use the signed copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them that her father had given her, but her classmates were understandably awestruck when she showed it off nevertheless. Even some of the older students were impressed, further proof that she'd gone through much cooler experiences than her classmates had!
She couldn't take any of her father's classes, which meant that she had to wait until after both her classes and his classes were over to see him. She headed to his office shortly after dinner though, and rapped on the door immediately before bursting into his office with a huge smile on her face. "Daddy, daddy, how were your classes? My classes were great, I love them all!" And she really did, at this point at least.
It stood to reason that Keily would eventually have classes that she preferred over others as well as classes that she didn't like as much, but now it all was so new and exciting and Keily was eager to experience it all. Unfortunately she couldn't - Classes like Care of Magical Creatures and Muggle Studies, Divination, Arithmancy, Ancient Runes..so many classes not even available to her until she was thirteen. How frustrating! The frown on her face belied her inner frustration at this
